Dive 13 – Barwon Heads Bluff

This dive was really impressive, and completely different to most other dives I’ve done. There were barely any critters around, but the dive was mainly about the underwater landscape, and seeking out some remnants of the Earl of Charlemont.

The rock formations looked amazing, and were great fun to explore around. We also did end up finding some parts left over from the Earl of Charlemont, as can be seen in the pics below.

Dive 10 – USAT Liberty, Tulamben, Bali

Fifth and final dive for my PADI Advanced Open Water course.  The photography portion of the course (although I already knew all the theory anyway).  It did give me a chance to test out my new camera though.  A couple of the pics are shown in the gallery below.

Dive 9 – Drop Off, Tulamben, Bali

Fourth dive for my PADI Advanced Open Water course.  This was the deep dive part of the course.  The dive site was fantastic.  This was my first wall to dive on, and I’m a fan.  There was a heap of fish and plant life right up and down the wall, and the site was very easy to dive.  This was the first outing with my camera, but I forgot to take the flash diffuser and the correct strap, which was a bit disappointing.

I also managed to drop my weight down to 5kg for this dive.

Dive 5 – St Leonards Pier, Port Phillip Bay

First dive since completing the Open Water course – and first try out with my new gear!  Saw a heap of stuff, and didn’t know what any of it was…  A couple of massive Ray’s, as well as a baby one about 30cm long.  Heaps of fun!
