Choc Almond Slice Recipe

An easy to make slice - great after a day or two in the fridge!



  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  2. Grease and line a 3cm deep 26cm X 16cm base slice pan.
  3. Combine butter, vanilla and brown sugar in a bowl.
  4. Sift flour and baking powder over butter mixture. Stir Well.
  5. Press mixture into a greased pan, and bake for 12 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool while you prepare choc chips, and almonds in a bowl. Mix together.
  7. Sprinkle mixture over the base.
  8. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the mixture.
  9. Bake for a further 18-20 minutes until golden.
  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Cut into squares and dust with icing sugar if desired.
